The following compressed and tarred manual files in this directory are taken from the following ftp sites: ampac2.1.tar.Z aix370.rrz.uni-koeln.de (134.95.136.1) gamess.tar.Z aix370.rrz.uni-koeln.de mndo91.tar.Z aix370.rrz.uni-koeln.de mopac6.0.tar.Z aix370.rrz.uni-koeln.de When you have transferred archives in binary mode you can extract files from archives by the following way: % zcat ampac2.1.tar.Z | tar xvfp - Another version of the AMPAC 2.1 manual in the subdirectory ampacmac, which is the Stuffit archive and after unpacking in Macintosh WORD format is taken from the following ftp site. ampman.sit ouchem.chem.oakland.edu (141.210.108.5) Please ftp it with "Binary" or "MacBinary" format. This will insure that you will be able to unpack the Stuffit archive and get a reasonable chance at it printing. It may be nesessary to change the Type of the archive from SITD to SIT! with ResEdit depending on your Stuffit version.
