    This file contains three stereo 44.1K samples from a "Tibetan" (sp?)
monk vocal CD.  These monks were famous for seemingly being able to sing
two pitches simultaneously through clever usage of the overtone series
(they were able to control the harmonics produced by the lowest root pitch).
Each sample has been mapped a range of about 1 - 1.5 octaves, although the
actual playable range is probably more limited than that (however, for some
applications, stretching the voice to the extremes might be the desired
effect.)  The patch was named "Midnight Monkess" (a play on words with
Midnight Madness since I was doing my sampling well into the evening).
The center-most sample is actually a group chanting, starting at different
times and really needs to be heard to fully appreaciate.  The stereo
samples enhance the sounds uniqueness encredibly (however, once downloaded
you could split them up into mono samples to gain more RAM/polyphony if
desired).
   Basically, these sounds are a must have for those who think they have
heard everything when it comes to vocal patches.  If you haven't heard these
monks "sing", then you're in for a real surprise.  A MUST HAVE for anyone
working on sound tracks which deal with the occult (just kidding :-)
