Subject: PLEASE HELP ME NOW!!

I need help with gopher so here' the deal. Using NCSA Mosaic, I ran a 
Veronica search on the word "Kite". When the querie was finished it, of 
course, gave me a list of availible files that mathed my querie. A number 
of these files had the extention"gz". I need help. When I click on these 
files I get biniry code much like a UUcoded article(I tried decoding, it 
didn't work) what do I do. Please help me.
here are some examples;

filename : I.LIKE.TO.fly-kites.gz
 	- I click on the name and I get a binary-like lettering on my 
screen.
