VERSION 1.5 (MARCH 2015)

Bugfix: Examining the blog produced the message for smashing the cat
Bugfix: Examining fountain water did not divert to the description of the fountain
Bugfix: Previously it was never mathematically possible to score the strongest critical hit, as the game sought a roll of 100 on a die which stopped at 99.9999
Bugfix: Pursuit by enemies through dark rooms never worked correctly. Enemies would make one move and then be stuck
Bugfix: Enemies now blocked from ever being present in sitting room at the moment you need to hide
Bugfix: Faint music can now be heard in the dance room (as well as the east hall) if drapes are closed, as was always intended
Bugfix: Player could change uniforms or remove shoes during combat by using REMOVE
Bugfix: Leather study artefacts responded to the READ command
Bugfix: READ BOOK/BOOKS now reroutes to EXAMINE BOOKS in the staff library, with correct outcome
Bugfix: Eliminated a bug which could possibly occur if player tried to OPEN an already open safe
Bugfix: Player can no longer put on 3d glasses during combat, though s/he can remove them
Bugfix: Player no longer accidentally moved back a room after death if they put on the glasses when already in the sitting room
Bugfix: In the outro program, a message to be displayed if the player scored over 68 never fired due to a typo
Bugifx: During fight with Irma in final room, each line of combat would produce a double 'A HIT!' message

Typo: Room 34 was missing a full stop at the end of the second line
Typo: 'families' in the tome content was spelled 'famillies'
Typo: Maglite was not capitalised in printed name 'Maglite torch'

Change: Lucinda is now an enemy, not neutral
Change: Balcony description rewritten to read well on any turn, not just on turn you first arrive in the location 
Change: Trying to OPEN the wardrobe in room 104 previously gave a stock message applying to containers which used to have things in them, which this wardrobe never did. Now it gives 'It's already open.'
Change: iMac weight changed to a 'You don't need to take it with you' type

VERSION 1.4 (OCTOBER 2011)

Bugfix: Embedded furniture descriptions could appear unnecessarily after first visit to a room

Change: One item's dropability has been changed. The result is that Leadlight's puzzle content now qualifies as 'Merciful' on the IF cruelty scale when previously it was 'Cruel'. The combat remains Cruel
Change: Added a Lucinda hint to hint sheet
Change: Settee's initial appearance changed to avoid repetitious writing
Change: Game version number now appears on title screen as well as down in credits
