UniProt Release 2024_02

The UniProt consortium European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), SIB Swiss 
Institute of Bioinformatics and Protein Information Resource (PIR), 
is pleased to announce UniProt Knowledgebase (UniProtKB) Release 
2024_02 (27-Mar-2024). UniProt (Universal Protein Resource) is a 
comprehensive catalog of information on proteins.

UniProtKB Release 2024_02 consists of 248,805,733 entries (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot: 
571,282 entries and UniProtKB/TrEMBL: 248,234,451 entries)
UniRef100 Release 2024_02 consists of 398,132,654 entries
UniRef90 Release 2024_02 consists of 187,136,236 entries
UniRef50 Release 2024_02 consists of 64,363,428 entries
UniParc Release 2024_02 consists of 737,125,415 entries, where 679,391,852 are active and 57,733,563 inactive
UniProt databases can be accessed from the web at http://www.uniprot.org and 
downloaded from http://www.uniprot.org/downloads. Detailed release
