Can anyone recommend a good shop, or shops around the oxfordshire/berkshire area. The shop I have found only stocks Brookites. They have a sparless aerofoil type kite size 6ft, can't remember what it was called (but is made by Brookites) which I like the look of, but it is 75 ukpounds. Which seems like a lot of money to me! Any comments on this kite, and or the price of it? Thanks for any response to this rather vague query! The shop I have found only stocks Brookites. > Well, I'd recommend Richard Marsh's shop in Reading : Tradewind Kites 6 Harris Arcade Friar St., Reading Berks, RG1 1DN 0734 568848 I'd had many an occasion to appreciate Richards knowledge and general friendliness. He's a competitive flyer/buggier himself, which always helps ! I have details of three places in Oxfordshire : Dunford Kites, Cochranes, Fairspear House, Leafield, Oxford Orbit Kites - as above Science Studios, 18 Hanborough Park, Long Hanborough, Oxford The science shop in Little Clarendon St. in Oxford always used to sell kites, dunno if it still does ( or even if the shop's still there :).
