If you are looking for larger festivals, check out Long Beach, Ocean Shores, and the Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival. (Lincoln City is awarding a trip to Weifang China or $1000 cash as their grand prize this year.) For sport kite events, there are the Northwest Regionals in Long Beach, the Washington State Championships, the Festival of Colors, and the North Coast Challenge -- all part of the new Western League. Basically, I guess it depends when you are planning your vacation. If you come to Oregon, call the President of the Associated Oregon Kiters (Dave Colbert) at 503-994-4111 to check on local events. Enjoy your time out here. -- David Gomberg/Cascade Kites phone 503-996-3083 Box 113, Neotsu Oregon 97364 USA fax 503-994-9692 Specializing in BIG "show" kites and Peter Lynn Inflatibles For info, see http;//www.kite.com/~crowell/casckites.html = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
