Does anyone out there know what the winds are like there? Should I take an 8' stunter or would the Rev I or Rev II be better? Would my Little Sister, which is 7' and likes moderate to high winds be a good idea? Any ideas or help would be appreciated. My wife and I vacationed there about three years back with our kites and here's the poop. Generally the wind blows inland along the part of the island between the Club Med and the Convention Center Area (East side of island?). This can prove difficult since the beach is very narrow due to the hurricane that blew thru there in 1988 [?]. Also, the beach gets very crowded and doesn't clear out till late afternoon or early evening. As far as other parts of the island I'm not sure, mostly the beach is narrow and crowded. You might find some wide beach along the north side of the island near where we caught the Pirate Night Party Cruise to Isle Mureias [sp] . I could however fly my RevII above the very high dunes? and my wife flew her delta.Things might have changed since we were there last and hopefully for your sake they reclaimed some of the beach.
