This is the official demo release of Gordon Lipford's Legends Data Base
V4.2 for IBM computers. 

Highlights:

* parser currently reads in Dragon Games turns only.  It will do:

  - Character reports
  - Force reports
  - Guild reports
  - Marketplace reports
  - Movement reports (excluding sightings)
  - Exploration reports (excluding ranger maps)

* running the parser on a non-DG turn won't do any harm. In fact, it won't
  do anything at all.  

* you can't export and import to the same copy of the parser. To use 
the parser you must have a registered copy of the V4.2 executable.

* there may be holes in turn parsing.  If anyone discovers a foulup,
send a description of the problem and enough turn text to reproduce 
the erroneous result.  (things like: very long race/status/training
names in a soldier line will make the morale,TL,MV "fall off" to the next 
line., etc.)
