 Checkusers program
by Ken Hollis, January 26 1995

This program is Public domain and may be freely distributed to anyone you
wish. Please do not modify the program, just use it. If you have any
suggestions you wish to make, please contribute them to my E-Mail address
 at: khollis@chatlink.com

 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please read the online manual pages for detailed documentation. This text
does not explain any things that the program does, other than the fact that
it steps through your USER HOME directory (if you have a uniform directory)
and it checks to see which users exist, and which do not.

To install the "checkusers" program, simply type:

 make

If you want to install the program, or the manual pages, type:

 make install (or)
 make install.man

respectively. The manual page is copied automatically into the
/usr/man/man1 directory. All you have to do at that point is type
 "man checkusers"

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to write me at
khollis@chatlink.com. This is one of many perl scripts that I am writing
and will be writing over the next few months. Enjoy it.
