was found for the first time from Finland in 1974, but the specimen was later lost in mail and unfortunately no photographs or other exact documents of the specimen exist. The second specimen of X. strix from Finland was found from U:Hanko, Sandö in 15.7.1994. The species has also been found from Latvia, Russia, Poland and Ukraine. Altogether about 20 exx. are known.
