... She took a sheet of Origami paper and ...

She folded the paper zigzag in one direction (divided in 16) like this:

   /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
and then she folded the thick strip also zigzag in the other direction (divided in 8 or 10 depending on the thickness of the paper).

Well now she had only one 'block' for one foot. But she could stand high on one foot and keep her equilibrium with the toes of the other.


You may do this also with tearing the sheet in two parts: for each foot one. But then the 'block' is very small.
